Terms of Service
Effective date: October 9, 2026.
1. The service
AgreeProof is a web-based service that helps people create, review, confirm, and retain a versioned digital record of a person-to-person agreement. The service may support MONEY, DAMAGE, and GENERAL agreement scenarios.
AgreeProof is operated by an individual. For service questions, contact anton@agreeproof.com.
2. Access and creation limits
Access may use an OTP sent to a U.S. phone number. A successful OTP establishes control of that number for the relevant product action at that time; it does not establish real-world identity, legal capacity, authority, or continuing ownership of the number. You must keep your device, phone, credentials, and OTP private.
Agreement creation is currently free. AgreeProof currently applies a limit of three new agreements per verified Party A. This limit does not charge Party B or prevent a participant from reviewing, signing, or accessing an existing agreement through the applicable workflow.
3. Party A and Party B
Party A is the person who creates or proposes an agreement. Party B is the other proposed participant. Each person is responsible for reviewing the information shown to them and the exact agreement version before confirming it.
Party A is responsible for the accuracy of information Party A provides, including Party B contact details, and for having an appropriate basis to provide another person's personal information. AgreeProof does not independently verify Party A's authority or Party B's identity. You must not use AgreeProof to send unwanted invitations, harass or impersonate another person, submit false information, access another participant's agreement, or interfere with security controls.
4. Confirmations and records
AgreeProof may present an agreement version for review and use a fresh signing OTP for a participant's confirmation of that version. The service is designed to bind a confirmation to the specific agreement version reviewed.
AgreeProof is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. It does not provide notarization, a qualified electronic signature, KYC, independent identity verification, debt collection, payment processing, or a guarantee that an agreement is legally enforceable, admissible, valid, collectible, or accepted by a court or government authority. AgreeProof is not a party to agreements made between users.
5. Evidence, PDFs, and email copies
Participants may be able to provide agreement content and upload supporting evidence, subject to current product limits and workflow state. Authorized participants may be able to download an executed-agreement PDF. An optional email copy may be available when configured and requested.
Do not provide content that is unlawful, false, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share, or that unnecessarily exposes another person's personal information. An email copy is a delivery convenience; it does not change agreement content, confirmation state, ownership, or access authorization.
6. SMS and communications
Authentication and signing OTP messages are transactional and user-requested, not marketing messages. Message frequency varies, and carrier message and data rates may apply. A supported opt-out may prevent AgreeProof from sending a requested authentication or signing OTP until an approved restoration process is available.
Party B invitation SMS will be available only when its consent model, message content, opt-out/help handling, and provider configuration have been approved and enabled. AgreeProof does not promise a particular keyword, automatic HELP response, provider behavior, or restoration process until the applicable messaging program is configured.
7. Availability and future features
AgreeProof may change, pause, restrict, or discontinue features to protect users, address security or abuse, or maintain the service. AgreeProof may later offer optional paid features, including a one-time charge to Party A for creating a new agreement. Any price, payment terms, refund information, and other applicable terms will be disclosed before a charge is introduced. No paid feature is currently active.
8. Notices and scope
The intended initial market is Texas, United States. AgreeProof does not state a business registration, business address, or legal entity that has not been established. Any legal notice, governing-law, or dispute-resolution terms that apply will be added when they are established.
